Jacky Valenzuela

Jacky is an Academic Advisor in the College of Information Science. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, she is a proud University of Arizona alumna. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies & Human Development from UA and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Community College & Higher Education from Northern Arizona University.

Jacky is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their academic and professional goals throughout their time at UA. She values building meaningful connections with students and strives to create a welcoming and supportive advising experience.

Outside of work, Jacky enjoys adventuring with her family, attending concerts, traveling and exploring new places, watching sports (Go Patriots & Braves!) and binge-watching shows and movies!
