Games & Behavior Undergraduate Minor

The Games and Behavior undergraduate minor provides students not only with a broad understanding of important design principles and human behavior in games, but also the implications of gamification in society.

The minor does not require extensive knowledge in computer programming, although technical classes are available to students with appropriate prerequisites.

This 18-unit minor is available on main campus and online.

Requirements

  • Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 average in minor coursework to complete the minor.
  • Students must complete at least 12 units (4 courses) which are upper-division (300-level or above).
  • Students are allowed to use up to 2 courses (typically, 6 units) between a major and minor program with departmental approval.
