Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science in Data Science. Our FAQs answer the most common questions we receive about the program.

You are not required to have a particular undergraduate degree such as data science and visualization, although it may help to have the best foundation for studying data science. The review committee will review courses, including whether you have taken linear math and basic programming, for admissions.

The GRE is not required for admission to the MSDS, but may be submitted if you wish.

The College of Information Science does not provide fee waivers for graduate programs. You may wish to visit University of Arizona Global for further assistance for international students. Also, you may find sponsored programs to help you at Office of Diversity and Inclusion Sponsored Programs.
