In the fall, we honor students who have had outstanding academic achievement in the previous academic year at an Honors Recognition Open House.
An RSVP link was sent to all eligible College of Information Science students via email.
If a student cannot attend the event, they can pick up their cord at Harvill, room 409, M-F, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. after Sept. 29.

I cannot attend! How do I get my cord?
Students can pick up their cord at the front desk of the College of Information Science Admin office in Harvill, room 409, between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. any time before their graduation.
How can I get my certificate?
The College of Information Science does not hand out certificates in a formal ceremony. All students earning Academic Honors received an email invitation to the Honors Open House that included a personalized and printable letter from the Dean recognizing their outstanding academic achievements. Your Honors designation is also listed on your official University of Arizona transcript.
What is the criteria for receiving Academic Honors?

I think I am eligible for Honors, but I did not receive an invitation.
You should double check the criteria, including graded units taken. Reach out to your Academic Advisor for further assistance in determining your eligibility.
