The University of Arizona’s Master of Science in Information Science continues to distinguish itself as a national leader in graduate education, earning the #5 spot in TechGuide’s 2025 ranking of the Best Online Master’s in Machine Learning Programs, a notable rise from last year, when the program was ranked #11.

Researchers from the College of Information Science and U of A have launched what they believe is the first open-access catalog of animal traditions to explore how social learning both shapes—and is shaped by—human-driven environmental change: The Animal Culture Database.
