Student Clubs & Organizations

InfoSci has a list of college recognized student organizations related to our academic programs and student interests. Join a club at any time in your student experience to connect with other students focusing on their passions to build community, gain valuable relevant experience and connect with industry.

Study or Intern Abroad

Independent Study & Directed Research

Earn academic credit while conducting individual studies: an independent study or research directed by College of Information Science faculty.

Internships

The University of Arizona offers academic credit for internship experiences. If you find an internship experience and are interested in getting credit that applies towards your degree plan. Arizona Cybersecurity Clinic

Arizona Cybersecurity Clinic aims to strengthen cybersecurity education, increase hands-on and experiential learning opportunities, and improve digital security for local communities, small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Cyber students can apply to complete the AZ Cybersecurity Clinic as their Capstone experience.

Fast Track Programs

The University of Arizona’s Center for Career Readiness offers “Fast Track” programs where students can earn digital badges for learning in-demand skills such as Data Analysis Using Excel, Adobe Express, and Digital Marketing. 

Forage Job Simulations

Explore careers and prepare for the job, from the comfort of your own space, with hundreds of free job simulations designed by the world’s top employers. You’ll get the chance to develop your skills and gain a real understanding of different roles and industries by working through self-paced modules, tackling tasks that mirror what you’d do if you were a real employee for that company.

University Libraries Data Cooperative

The Data Cooperative is a library-based hub of data support services and resources for the U of A faculty, staff, and student community. We aim to help individuals build capacity and foster interdisciplinary connections to solve research problems relating to data management, data science, visualization, digital scholarship, and geospatial applications.
