University Libraries Data Cooperative
Looking to learn more about data management, data science, visualization, or geospatial applications? The University Libraries Data Cooperative has resources available! From ArcGIS & QGIS to R/RStudio & Python you can find free workshops teaching foundational coding and data science skills.
A student makerspace in the University of Arizona’s Main Library with open lab hours, club meetings and workshops. Resources include a VR equipment, 3D printers, laser cutters, woodshop and CNC machines, crafting cabinet, data visualization wall, electronics prototyping supplies and more!

Arizona Cybersecurity Clinic provides students with a hands-on experiential learning opportunity to improve digital security for local communities, small businesses and nonprofit organizations. The clinic provides students with practical cybersecurity experience while delivering free security services to under resourced and underserved organizations. Open to Cyber Operations students during their senior capstone course, CYBR498.

You’ll get the chance to develop your skills and gain a real understanding of different roles and industries by working through self-paced modules, tackling tasks that mirror what you’d do if you were a real employee for that company.
The University of Arizona’s Center for Career Readiness offers “Fast Track” programs where students can earn digital badges for learning in-demand skills such as Data Analysis Using Excel, Adobe Express and Digital Marketing.

The Graduate College Career Center supports students in both master’s and doctoral programs in their career goals, tailoring their content to specifically address graduate-level students.
International Student Resources
The InfoSci Student Career Center has identified some helpful resources for international students who require sponsorship in order to in the US. This is a starting place and not a comprehensive list of resources.
The Arizona Alumni Career Lab is dedicated to helping UArizona students and alumni advance in the collegiate and professional careers. We offer career coaching and mentorship programs as well as access to resources such as job boards, professional development webinars and networking opportunities.

AZTC is Arizona’s premier networking and trade association for science and technology organizations. It is the driving force behind making the Grand Canyon State the fastest-growing technology hub in the nation, connecting and empowering Arizona’s community of innovation.
CactusCon is the largest annual hacker and cybersecurity conference in Arizona. The event brings together thousands of security professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts for two days of hands-on workshops, expert-led sessions.
