Teasha Decaire

Hello, my name is Teasha Decaire! I'm an academic advisor in the College of Information Science. Before joining the college, I spent nearly three years as an Academic Success Coach at Pima Community College working with students in all seasons of life and prior to that, I worked for almost seven years as a dispatcher with the University of Arizona Police Department, which deepened my connection to this campus and community. My own educational journey wasn't always easy. College didn't come naturally to me, but with a lot of support and perseverance, I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Arizona University at the age of 36. That experience has profoundly shaped how I approach advising. I understand firsthand that everyone's path looks different and I'm passionate about helping students navigate their educational journeys and pursue their goals.
