Loren M. Rieffer-Champlin is a native Tucsonan, husband and father of two. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics, an M.Ed. in Teaching and Teacher Education and an M.S. in Statistics, all from the University of Arizona. He is currently an eighth-year PhD candidate in the College of Information Science. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning and Bayesian statistics, with specific focuses on reinforcement learning, reward learning for reinforcement learning and Bayesian neural networks.
