Laurie Seder

Adjunct Instructor

Laurie Seder is an associate professor of practice in the University of Arizona Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies who also serves as an instructor in the College of Information Science. Her work focuses on inclusion and accessibility for all students in early childhood, K12 and postsecondary environments; preservice training for teachers in early childhood through 12th grade; educational assessments; and a variety of reading disabilities. Before her current role, she was the assistant director of research and program development for the SALT Center; a statistical consultant for the university's departments of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies, and Campus Health; and she served as the program director of the Bachelor of Applied Science Early Childhood and Bachelor of Science Elementary programs. In her spare time, Dr. Seder enjoys spending time with her family, reading fiction, hiking and taking photographs of the Sonoran desert.
