Kristi Manasil

Kristi Manasil is a doctoral student in the College of Information Science at the University of Arizona. Her research examines how data science, artificial intelligence and progress analytics can improve student success and support evidence-based decision making in higher education. She has contributed to the development of institutional analytics tools, including Cohort Analytics, Arizona Transfer Planner and predictive analytics initiatives that help advisors and university leaders identify opportunities to improve student outcomes. She also collaborates on a multi-institution research initiative applying causal inference methods to better understand factors that influence student success across diverse institutional contexts. Her broader research interests focus on the development of data-informed systems that help students navigate complex educational pathways while enabling institutions to better support student success and educational equity.
