Prior to becoming a professor of practice with the University of Arizona, Jordan VanHoy spent 11 years in the United States Marine Corps. He began his career as a Special Intelligence Communicator/System Administrator and Digital Network Analyst prior to commissioning in March 2015. Upon commission, he became an Air Intelligence Officer, where he spent four years in Yuma, Arizona.
He currently holds the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CASP, CySA+, Security+, Network+, Cloud+, CCENT, Splunk Core Certified User, Certified in Emerging Technologies Blockchain, and GIAC GASF.
