Hyowon Kim

I'm dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by marginalized groups due to societal perceptions, biases, and discrimination. My research focuses on two primary areas: Firstly, I explore the impact of social media on these targeted groups, investigating the production, dissemination, and real-world political effects of information concerning social minorities. Secondly, I am intrigued by the curation and management of sensitive and novel data types, particularly social media data related to these minorities or generated by these groups.
