Dr. Fan Yang's research focuses on artificial intelligence in education, with particular emphasis on how learners engage in AI-supported academic help-seeking and how instructional designers and instructors leverage AI to enhance learner engagement and learning outcomes. At the University of Arizona, Dr. Yang researches the design and evaluation of AI-supported chatbots and platforms.
