Collin Stout

Academic Advising Manager

Collin Stout is originally from Buffalo, New York, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in childhood education and master’s degree in higher education and student affairs. He is also a student in the Applied Computing program at the College of Information Science.

With approximately 10 years of advising experience, Collin began his career at the University of South Carolina before moving to Hilbert College, a small liberal arts college in Buffalo, and eventually joining the University of Arizona.

Having changed his major five times as a student and worked with a wide range of academic advisors, Collin understands the importance of finding the right support. As an advisor, he is committed to helping students achieve their personal, professional and educational goals. He works collaboratively with students to ensure they make the most of their college experience and feel prepared for success after graduation.

Outside of work, Collin enjoys playing music, participating in sports (Go Bills!), writing, reading, hiking, running and crocheting. He looks forward to getting to know his students and encourages them to stop by his office or reach out by email anytime.
