Ayesha Khatun works on multilingual natural language processing for health AI, building systems that can understand and deliver health information reliably in languages other than English. Ayesha is a Ph.D. student in Information Science at the University of Arizona, where she is a member of the Computational Language Understanding (CLU Lab). Her work spans low-resource language technology, biomedical information extraction, constrained decoding for reliable text generation and multimodal models that combine language with visual signals.

She received her Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Arizona in 2025. Before that, she completed her B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), graduating with honors.
