Amanda Harrell

Amanda Harrell joined the College of Information Science in 2026. She brings years of experience as a Career Coach, Program Manager and Customer Experience Manager and has a background in training and development. Amanda specializes in program development from early ideation to implementation and connecting teams across strategies and goals.
In 2025, she worked with the Office of Responsible AI where she focused on shaping AI strategy through cross-disciplinary collaboration and educational programming. She spent 6 years with the Center for Career Readiness where she developed internship programming initiatives and managed the summer internship stipend program. Prior to her time with the university, she lived in San Francisco and worked in retail management with multiple major retailers.
