Driven by a passion for research and education, H M Abdul Fattah aims to leverage artificial intelligence and healthcare informatics to bridge the gap between complex data and impactful solutions, with a focus on data ethics, data management and the societal impact of technology. Fattah received his Master's in Information Science from the University of Arizona, where he was awarded inclusion on the Dean's List of Distinguished Graduate Scholars for Fall 2024. Before that, during his undergraduate and MS studies at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), he specialized in data mining and machine learning. He also worked as a research intern in Mayo Clinic's AI and Informatics department for six months, where he contributed to developing a rare disease study identification tool.
Fattah's passion for teaching and faculty work was shaped by his experience as a teaching faculty member at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology in Bangladesh. From August 2018 to July 2022, he taught courses in object-oriented programming, data structures and discrete mathematics. During this time, he also conducted extensive research and guided undergraduate students on their final-year theses, further solidifying his commitment to education and academic mentorship.
