The newest edition of Associate Professor Diana Daly's acclaimed, open-access textbook on social media, new media and participatory culture, Humans R Social Media, welcomes additional authors and features contributions by students to help readers understand how we as humans shape social media, and how social media in turn shapes our world.

Julie Swarstad Johnson, a lifelong Arizonan who “fell in love with Tucson’s quirky charm” when she first came to the university as an undergraduate, is the archivist and outreach librarian at the U of A Poetry Center as well as an award-winning poet who recently completed a “mission” to the moon.

On May 10, 2024, the College of Information Science celebrated its inaugural Spring Convocation. The event honored the achievements of more than 300 bachelor’s and master’s students, and was highlighted by Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library Director Teresa Miguel-Stearns's keynote address.

Bailie Wynbelt, the College of Information Science's Spring 2024 Outstanding Senior, came to U of A from Michigan because of our welcoming campus and expansive undergraduate research opportunities.
