Janet Hartkopf serves as the Coordinator for Emerging Technologies within Career and Technical Education for Chandler Unified School District in Arizona. She leads the development of innovative programs in cybersecurity, semiconductor manufacturing and advanced technology that connect K–12 education with higher education, industry and regional workforce priorities. Janet helped develop and launch Chandler Unified’s semiconductor CTE pathway in collaboration with the University of Arizona and industry partners and continues to support scalable approaches to semiconductor workforce education. She serves on the Arizona Commerce Authority Semiconductor Workforce Committee and participates in national cybersecurity education initiatives through the NICE K–12 community. Janet holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Operations from the University of Arizona, where she was recognized as a 2026 Distinguished Graduate Scholar. Her work has also received the ACTE Region V Innovative CTE Program Award and the TeachCyber Passport Award.
