2025 Launching Your Career Symposium

The 2025 Launching Your Career (LYC) Symposium is a campus-wide professional development and networking symposium targeted to women in STEM across the University of Arizona. LYC provides students the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, build skills, and develop relationships with women STEM professionals to help launch their STEM careers! The LYC Symposium is free and open to anyone who registers.

All events will take place in the Student Union Memorial Center Grand Ballroom.

• This year's program features a variety of career pathway panels on the following tracks: Clinical Healthcare, Biomedicine, Engineering, Quantum Computing, Tech Industry, and Environmental Sciences.
• The program also features workshops on: Resume and Interviewing Strategies, In-Person and LinkedIn Networking, Technical Interviewing Tactics, Self-Defense, Healthy Interpersonal Relationships, Financial Planning, and Salary Negotiation.
• The day-long event culminates in a Women in STEM Community Networking Mixer & Reception that will bring together students, faculty, staff, and industry partners to build greater connection among women in STEM and their allies!
