Gabriela Siqueiros-Porras
Gabriela Siqueiros-Porras is a Navy veteran who worked on military fighter jets during her active-duty service. After her military enlistment, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration: Law Enforcement. She worked for the State of Arizona, in the Division of Children, Youth and Families, before making her transition into higher education. Gabriela earned a Master of Education in Higher Education: Student Development and Affairs, while working as the coordinator of veteran services at Arizona Western College. In 2019, she made her transition to the University of Arizona as an academic advisor for the College of Applied Science & Technology (CAST). Gabriela enjoys speaking with traditional and post-traditional students, as well as her local community, about the excellent academic and career opportunities at the College of Information Science. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her family on Coronado Island, in her native California.
