What We Need:

College Intern - Northeast District (Full and Part Time Hours Available).


What We Do:

At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.


What We Need You To Do:

As a college intern in District Operations at the Northeast District Office in Twinsburg, you’ll assist with document management duties and clerical tasks associated with the Agency's electronic document management system (eDoc).

Under the supervision of the office manager, your tasks will include:

  • Scanning existing files and incoming documents
  • Performing quality assurance and control of scanned documents
  • Indexing files
  • Purging records according to the Agency’s document retention schedules

This internship offers hands-on experience to help level up your resume.

Qualifications

  • Education: Must be enrolled in a college degree program directly related to the position (Library and Information Science) or have recently graduated within the quarter/semester immediately preceding the start date.
  • Knowledge of safety practices, public relations, and Agency policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Skills in computers, including word processing and database work.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
