Ruoyao Wang

PhD Student

Ruoyao Wang is a fourth year PhD in Information student at the University of Arizona. His advisor is Peter Jansen. He received his MS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and BS in Microelectronic Science and Engineering from Fudan University. His research interests are mainly in natural language processing. Specifically, he is interested in text virtual environments or text games. These interactive environments are able to simulate real-world phenomena based on natural language. The goal of his research is to build up a simulation for the real world that we can use for scientific discovery. Before he worked in natural language processing, he had research experiences in medical image processing and embedded systems.
