"Find those classes that fuel your passion—it makes college more fun!"
Hometown
Fayetteville, North Carolina (I am military-affiliated so have lived in a lot of states but North Carolina was the last state I lived in!)
To me, the InfoSci experience means...
Connection. As an out of state student, the College of Information Science has created a friendly and homelike atmosphere that I needed when I first moved here!
More about me:
I chose the Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and Arts because it allows me to grow my creatively and be able to involve myself with different areas in my future career field. I love the classes I have gotten the opportunity to take with my degree. I have taken classes like Computing and the Arts, where I was able to use my musical background and computer skills by integrating them into projects!
I hope to work in the communications and data analytics side of tech. My degree has taught me skills and grown me professionally in both aspects. Outside of school, I love to build websites, grow my podcast channel and hang out with family.
My advice for prospective students is to take classes you find interesting that can also help you personally. I have taken classes that fuel my creative side while improving my technical side. Find those classes that fuel your passion—it makes college more fun!
