Job Description:

As a paid Summer Intern at HUM Rideshare, you’ll be part of an exciting team working to enhance the experience for both rideshare drivers and passengers. Your role will involve various tasks related to communication and driver engagement. Here are the key responsibilities:

  1. Contact Newly Approved Drivers:
    • Reach out to newly approved drivers and ensure their questions are answered.
    • Review important aspects with them, including: 
      • The driver app
      • Support tab
      • STRIPE connection
      • Manual ride procedures
      • HUM website resources and frequently asked questions (FAQs)
    • Extend a warm welcome and invite them to the weekly meet-up
  2. Deactivated Drivers Outreach:
    • Identify and reach out to deactivated drivers  in the Tucson area listed in the dashboard.
    • Assist them in completing any outstanding requirements.
  3. Driver Recruitment:
    • Visit locations where rideshare drivers congregate (such as transportation hubs, events, or community centers).
    • Introduce HUM Rideshare and its benefits to potential drivers.
    • Encourage them to join the HUM community.
  4. Promotion Opportunities:
    • Explore partnerships with hotels, resorts, and other relevant businesses.
    • Introduce HUM Rideshare as a reliable transportation option for their guests.
    • Collaborate on promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
  5. Relationship Management:
    • Regularly follow up with existing promoters and partners.
    • Strengthen relationships and ensure a steady supply of promotional materials.

Duration:
  • The internship will last 10–12 weeks during the summer and possibly longer.
