Intel Foundry Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) is hiring a Data Science Intern to leverage data analytics towards microprocessor manufacturing process control. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Learning from senior data scientists and fab process module engineers about the nature of manufacturing data.
- Using predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from manufacturing process data.
- Developing software, algorithms, and applications to support fab Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Advanced Process Control (APC) systems.

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration. Internship will start in the Summer 2024.
Qualifications
You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must be actively pursuing a master’s or PhD degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
12+ months of experience working with one or more of the following:
- Data analysis
- Proficient in Python, JMP, or Matlab
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of working knowledge with SQL queries and database technologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
