How the Online-to-Campus Pathway Works
1. Apply to Start Online
Begin in the online version of your chosen graduate program.
2. Complete Foundational Coursework From Home
Build your academic momentum and prepare for the transition to the U.S.
3. Secure Your Visa While Continuing Your Studies
Our international team provides support throughout the process.
4. Transition to the Tucson Campus
Once your visa is approved, join the University of Arizona in person to complete your degree.
5. Access to OPT Opportunities After Graduation
Following your graduation from the Tucson campus, you'll be eligible for the Optional Practical Training (OPT) work pathway. Note: OPT eligibility requires one full academic year on campus, with fall/spring or spring/fall semester enrollment.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN DATA SCIENCE
The 18-month, STEM-designated MS in Data Science provides the training students need in data collection, exploration, manipulation and storage, analysis, and presentation to excel and innovate in the data-rich workplace.
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION SCIENCE
The 18-month, STEM-designated MS in Information Science is designed to help students develop advanced skills in applying interdisciplinary methods to solve information and data challenges. Students choose from two subplans: Human-Centered Computing and Machine Learning.
MASTER OF ARTS IN LIBRARY & INFORMATION SCIENCE
The American Library Association-accredited, 2-year MA in Library and Information Science prepares students for changemaking careers with concentrations in Academic Librarianship, Archival Studies, Digital Curation, Legal Information, Public Librarianship and Special Librarianship.
